Last Monday Greenpeace Belgium did an action at the Total Refinery plant at the Port of Antwerp. The action was launching the #Break Free- campaign, a worldwide movement to Break Free From Fossil Fuels. Recently there has been discovered a reef at the estuary of the Amazon river before the coast of Brazil. Total wants to go drilling for oil close to the reef. We hung a banner on a pylone, rebranded the Total- logo on the 90m- chimney and painted&put a sticker of street-artist Bonom on a fuel tank. One of the international executive directors of Greenpeace, Bunny McDiarmid, joined the action and climbed the chimney. No drills, no spills, break free from fossil fuels!
